About Me

We purchased our first chihuahua a little over a year ago and are now looking for a playmate for him. Tebow our LC is very spoiled, we take him every where w/us and he was a chic magnet when we went to Brown County for a few days in April 2013. From April to October we spend time @ our camper, yes he is a hit there also. Every where we take him we have people stopping us, asking us what kind of dog he is and where did he get his training. Tebow loves everyone, giving lots of kisses. When we went to register him for puppy class he was too advanced and was enrolled in basic obedience. He has graduated from his class and is now a member of Mississinewa Valley Obedience Training Club, attending every Thursday. The trainers are all very impressed w/him, said we have a very special little guy. Tebow had his 1st birthday in March, when our 12 yr old great niece come across his birthday pics on my camera she could not believe his haul. lol

Tebow was my Mothers Day gift last yr but soon became my husbands Fathers Day gift. lol My husband has always had his way w/pets preferring Siberian Huskies. After going approx. 7yrs w/out a pet, we started our search for a Yorkie, after my husband fell in love w/my sister's. I had tried to persuede my husband to agree w/getting a Chihuahua but he said no and that the Yorkie had to be a female(we had always had females). After researching/searching many days and evening on the internet I found a tiny male but again my husband would not say, any pic I showed him he would not give me a deffinate answer. One evening I was tired of looking @ Yorkies, I thought this is my Mother's Day gift, I'm going to look @ Chihuahua's. That is when I came across our Tebow, when I saw his pick I just knew he was the one. I had a hard time sleeping that night, I had to wait til the next morning to show my husband. As soon as I showed my husband the pics he said "that is the one" I tried to show him a few more but he said no "I told you that is the one!". I then told him that there was two things I needed to tell him " it is a male and he is a Chihuahua". My husband said I don't care "that is the one". That is how Tebow came into our lives, he has brought so much joy to us, we had went through so much loss, grief , heartache and health problems in our family. The people we got Tebow from were Tim Tebow fans and he was born on Sunday, we loved the name and kept it, his full name is Tebow Chulo Blaze of Glory, his name says how I feel about him. So now we cannot live w/just one!

Blessed with our Chi, Reva

Behind on my update. May 31 we got our 2nd Chihuahua from Garrison's Chihuahua's, she was their last pup since they were no longer going to breed. She is a beautiful double coat chocolate sable w/green eyes, just gorgeous! I have to give my Brother in-law a BIg Thank You for picking her up, even though by the time we arrived on Sunday he was already attached to her. When we turned off their road she started crying for about 30 minutes. We named her Miss Kay Tangia of Dynasty, Tangia means Angel (which is also the birth mothers name) Garrison's called her Miss Kay, they are Duck Dynasty fans. We also are fans and so came her name, we call her Tangi. My sister text me when we were on our way to pick her up, telling me there is something that reminded her of my grandmother. I don't know what it is but yes I can see it. My grandmother was my rock and I miss her dearly. Tangi is so loved and tends to be my husbands favorite. I had to call him out on it, don't want any Chihuahua rivalry. Lol I had contacted Haas Chihuahua's in August because I was interested in another pup, had to cancel my appointment due to my husband making other plans. While we were away I received an e-mail from another contact about a pup I was interested in. Before we knew it I had made arrangements for a trip to Tennessee. On our anniversary we were heading home with our 3rd Chihuahua. Her name is Tassi Heaven's Mark of Beauty, she is a tri with a beauty mark on the side of her jaw. I knew she had the beauty mark but while @ class, Jackie came up and said "you got another one?, she has been kissed by an Angel" I then looked @ her beauty mark and noticed it was shaped like an Angel wing! The Mississinewa Valley Obedience Training Club that we are members of are so impressed with our Chihuahua's. Tebow and Tassi won 1st place for Cutest this year, Tangi had her outfit but come into heat so she was unable to attend. We had our 4 legged family greeting the kids on Halloween. They have made their 2nd trip to Brown County, in which we were approached both times asking if we were interesting in selling one? Of course the answer was NO, but everyone was impressed w/their disposition,, some shops invited them in! Lol They are always a hit where ever we travel. Someone said 'You have 3, my response "I have OCD Obsessive Chihuahua Disorder. Lol Still looking forward to making a trip to Haas Chihuahua's, would love to speak w/someone experienced with Chihuahua's.

Blessed with our Chi's, Reva
